Soni Pahade, MS Gerontology, Owner and President
Soni Pahade has devoted her career to both assisting and advocating for older adults and their families. In her current position as Aging Life Care Professional and Owner of Aging Advisors she leads a team of healthcare professionals who provide support for community elders both in their homes and in facilities. Soni has 20 years of experience working in the field of Gerontology, including work as Geriatric Care Manager at Sally Winsby and Senior Bridge in NYC In New Jersey she has worked as a Senior Support Specialist in Greater Trenton Behavioral Health Center’s Senior Well Being Program, Gerontologist at Princeton Resource Center, Program Director in Home Friends Program, and Admissions Director at Morris Hall Meadows Skilled Nursing Center. Her education includes a Psychology Degree with a specialty in Gerontology from the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree in Gerontology from Hofstra University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. In addition to Care Management, Soni has provided the community with educational workshops, support groups and has done outreach to the greater senior community. Soni is an Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association, a certified Dementia Practitioner, and a member of the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.
Amanda Stewart, LPN
Amanda Stewart is a Licensed Practical Nurse with 22 years’ experience. She earned her degree at Mercer County Health Careers Center where she graduated top of her class. Amanda started her career at Presbyterian Homes, now Springpoint Senior Living, where she spent her first 14 years as a nurse. She assisted nursing students in their clinical rotations, was a member of the falls, residents first, and end of life committees, and was a part of new hire and current employee yearly education. She helped plan and select the interior design of the newly designed memory care unit in 2005. She also helped the Assistant Living program receive their Advance Standing status through the state of New Jersey. She earned certifications as a specialized Long-term care and Certified Assistant living nurse. She also received her Certified Assisted Living Administrator license. She went on to become unit manager of long-term care and sub-acute rehab units, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Assistant Director of Nursing, in a free-standing assistant living, and a MDS coordinator where she earned her Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator certification. Amanda’s primary passion is working with the older adult population and being an advocate for her clients and families. Aging Advisors allows her to continue to advocate and make a positive impact in others’ lives.
Ellen Petroski
Ellen Petroski has worked in healthcare with the older adult population for over 45 years. She has her Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania along with her NJ licenses in Social Work and Nursing Home Administration. Until her retirement in August she was responsible for running Morris Hall in Lawrenceville. There she was instrumental in developing and opening Grace Garden Memory Care in Morris Hall’s Assisted Living and Morris Hall Meadows, a unique small – home model long term care community. She spent her last 6 months at Morris Hall organizing around the pandemic and developing policies and practices to cope with the massive changes in the industry. She has worked both in hospital settings as a social worker and in long term care settings, first as a social worker and then as an administrator. She worked for Capital Health Regional Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes (now Springpoint), as a social worker. After getting her administrator’s license she worked for Genesis Healthcare and several other nursing home providers in the area. Developing effective care models for older adults with both physical and cognitive needs has been her main interest and her professional focus.
Ellen has both run and designed educational trainings on numerous topics including Dementia care, Covid19 and the Green House Project. She has designed and opened several memory care units, both in a nursing home setting and in an assisted living environment. Developing effective dementia care and resources has been a specific interest for her. As a social worker she has run support groups and has developed resources for community support services. For a lifelong client advocate, working as a case manager with Aging Advisors has been a logical next step in her long career.
Sandra Lippman
Sandra Lippman has more than twenty years experience working in healthcare as an activity professional. Working with the elderly is my passion! I am a graduate of the University of Arizona global campus. I graduated with my Bachelors in gerontology. I have a therapy dog named Mattie who is my world. My favorite season is summer when you can go to the beach and/or the river.
A goal I have in life is to bring joy and to inspire others.
